Customer Care Advisor

The Simply Group is looking to recruit a Customer Care Advisor to join their hardworking, dynamic Customer Care Team. Located just outside the picturesque town of Faversham in Kent, The Simply Group operate a retail outlet, customer service centre and warehouse from their large modern industrial premises.

The main aspect of the role will be to assist the team in responding to customer emails and dealing with customer queries over the telephone. You will also assist our customers via our online Live Chat facility, dealing with stock questions and order enquiries. Having worked in a busy environment in the past you will be conscientious, extremely motivated and a great team player.

Due to the nature of our business, the Company operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The standard hours for the post are 08:30-17:30 five days out of seven, to include alternate Saturdays. Applicants must be prepared to provide weekend email cover remotely for 1-2 hours per day at weekends (on a 1 weekend in 3 rotation basis in exchange for half a day in lieu). Internet connectivity is essential, laptop will be provided.

Key skills and attributes;
The successful candidate will have a positive, professional approach to Customer Service and Sales and be able to deal with difficult situations calmly and efficiently. You will require good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications are essential, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. Written French and/or German skills are desirable but not essential. You will possess an interest within our niche market and be technically minded. You will have a proactive approach to your own development with learning new skills.

Package;
£15’000 pa

Specialist SCUBA Diving Retail Assistant - Full Time

We are looking to recruit a Specialist SCUBA Diving Retail Assistant to expand our current hard working and successful Retail Team based in Faversham. The main aspect of the role will be to support the Retail Manager and Retail Supervisor in the effective day-to-day running of the shop, ensuring customer service excellence is maintained at all times and key business objectives are being meet.

Key responsibilities & objectives;

Customer Service Excellence
• Ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times.
• Providing customers with support with product information in order to make an informed buying decision.
• Product knowledge - ensuring that personal product knowledge is maintained to a high standard, any gaps in knowledge are identified, communicated with line managers and addressed.
• Ensuring that Scuba specific product knowledge is maintained to a high level through regular diving, contact with forums & manufacture representatives.

Key skills and attributes;
• Qualified Scuba Diver.
• Must be friendly, personable and approachable with a commitment to providing customer service excellence.
• Committed team player with strong verbal, written and listening skills.
• Enjoy working with the public and motivated by meeting their needs.
• Must be prepared to work regular weekends on shift rotation.

Circa £18,000 dependant of skills and experience
