Delivery Information

What are my delivery options to the UK and how much do they cost?

Standard delivery is 2-3 days from the date of despatch - £2.99

Express delivery is 1 - 2 days from the date of despatch - £4.99

Next Working Day - £6.99 (Please note that the Next Working Day option is only available if all the items you are trying to order are in stock. Orders must be placed before 3pm Monday - Friday to be despatched the same day)

DPD

1 Hour Time Slots For Express & Next Working Day

For UK mainland orders placed via Express or Next Working Day services we mostly use DPD couriers who use DPD Predict. The great thing abut DPD Predict is that you'll be informed of the exact hour your order will be delivered via email and text message (so make sure you include you mobile number when you check out). So no more waiting about all day for your order to arrive.

And as an added bonus you can reply to the text or email to arrange delivery on the next day if the delivery doesn't suit.

What are your despatching hours?

We despatch Monday - Friday from 9.00am to 4.00pm. As mentioned above, Next Working Day orders must be placed by 3pm to be despatched that day.

What are my delivery options outside the UK and how much do they cost?

We offer two levels of service depending on how quickly you need your order delivered.

Standard

Standard International method is suitable for all orders to be shipped outside the United Kingdom. ParcelForce Worldwide takes 3-21 days for delivery from despatch, dependant on location. Shipping prices are calculated on the size and volumetric weight of the goods contained in the parcel.

Express

This shipping method is suitable for all orders to be shipped outside the United Kingdom. DHL Express takes 1-4 days for delivery from despatch, dependant on location. Shipping prices are calculated on the size and volumetric weight of the goods contained in the parcel.

When will you despatch my order?

All orders will be shipped as soon as all the items are available - subject to payment authorisation. We despatch orders Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays).

Please Note. Where items on your order are out of stock the order will ship once all of the orders components become available. If you would rather not wait for the remainder to come in to stock, we advise that you place a separate order for these items.

Can I use an alternative delivery address?

If you would like us to ship to an alternative address rather than your registered billing address, simply tick the box (when you are checking out) and complete the address details.

Please Note. International orders can only be shipped to the billing address and PO Box addresses may not be accepted. For UK registered credit/debit cards we can only ship to addresses within the UK. Unfortunately for PayPal users and overseas customers we can only ship to your registered billing address. These restrictions are online fraud prevention measures issued by the banking community and are beyond our control, sorry.

Can I Track My Delivery?

Yes, when we despatch your order we will email you with the tracking details.

Will I need to sign for my delivery?

Yes, as a general rule the courier will require a signature on delivery.

However, if your order is small, light and inexpensive, and you choose to have it sent to you via our standard service, it may be delivered to you via Royal Mail 2nd Class post and may therefore be delivered with your normal mail.

Can I Collect My Order?

Yes of course, if you live locally and want to pop into the shop to pick up your order that's fine.

Just select "collection" as your delivery option when you checkout and we'll email you when we've picked it and it's ready for collection.

Overseas Orders, VAT and Import Duties

If your delivery county is inside the European Union then your order will be subject to VAT.

For exports to countries outside the EU although these are exempt from VAT you may be required to pay import duties by your government, you will be notified by the courier that delivers your goods if this is the case.

Some countries (including but not limited to Israel, Norway, Switzerland and Turkey) do not impose import duties on products shipped from the EU, however in some cases you may be required to pay a local sales tax; you will be notified by the courier that delivers your goods if this is the case.

Missing or Damaged Delivery?

If your goods have either been received as damaged or are missing please contact customer services immediately, either by email CustomerCare@TheSimplyGroup.com or by calling us on 0844 567 7070.

If the goods are damaged we will need a proof of the damage, either by the item being returned to us, or in some cases an image sent via email. Customer Services they can advise you on the best course of action. Once we have verified the damage we can then rectify the situation.

If your goods have simply gone missing for UK orders we simply have to wait 5 days past the standard delivery time and we can then re-send you the goods. If you are an overseas customer we have to wait up to a maximum of 30 days from dispatch, after this period has passed we can re-send the goods.

Returns Policy

What is your Returns Policy?

We hope you will be completely satisfied with any product purchased from The Simply Group.

However should you wish, you can return it for any reason within 28 days from the date of despatch for a full refund (less postage costs).

Items must be unused and in an as new condition with all packaging and labels/tags attached. The latest date for returns is printed on your delivery note for clarification.

Whilst we generally process refunds the day they arrive with us please allow up to 7 days (or longer during busy periods) for your refund to processed before contacting us.

 

How do I return an item?

We have three methods for returning items mentioned below. But whichever of these methods you use please ensure you complete the rear of your delivery note to let us know why you want to return the items and to inform us whether you want an exchange or refund.

Please be aware that you are responsible for the item(s) until such time as they are received by us. As such we advise that you use a traceable and insured method of delivery, or at least obtain proof of postage to enable you to claim from the carrier should your item(s) fail to arrive with us.

2. Return by Collect+

To make it cheaper and even more convenient for you to return your order to us we have teamed up with Collect+. Now you can drop off your parcel at over 3,000 local shops, open early ‘till late, 7 days a week for only £4.29 a parcel. For more information on using our Collect+ service click here.

3. Return to The Simply Group Store

If you're in a hurry and you're local to Faversham in Kent you can also take your item(s) back in person to our Faversham Kent store along with your delivery note. One of our friendly colleagues will be happy to assist you with exchanging or refunding your order.

Can I exchange items?

Yes of course, just follow the simple instructions on the reverse of your delivery note and we’ll do the rest.

When a replacement is required urgently, it is advisable to place a new order on the website for the replacement item first. This ensures that the goods can be despatched with a minimum of delay in order to get them to you promptly. You should then follow the normal returns procedure as above to return the original goods for a refund.

 

What if an item is faulty?

In the unlikely event that something you have purchased from us is faulty when it arrives then we will be happy to replace it for you.

If an item becomes faulty after a period of time then please contact customer services before returning the item. We will either repair or replace the item at our discretion.

We will send you a free postage label or refund your return postage in these instances (item weight dependant) so you don’t incur any additional costs.

By Car:

Exit the M2/A299 at junction 7 and follow A2 to Faversham for 1.6 miles. Turn right onto the B2040 Love Lane and follow down to mini roundabout (approximately 0.5 miles). Turn left onto Whitstable Road over the railway bridge (1st exit).

Continue down until you see the Queen Elizabeth Jubilee Centre (large blue and wooden building) on your left. Take the left turn just in front of the Jubilee centre. We are then located on the right hand side approximately 200 metres up that road.

By Train:

Alight at Faversham Station. Exit the station onto Station Road (front of train station, where taxi rank is located). Bear right out of the station, follow road down to mini roundabout (approximately 100 meters). At roundabout, turn left into Newton Road and follow down to traffic lights (approximately 400 meters). Turn right at the traffic lights onto Whitstable road past the park and follow road up to the Queen Elizabeth Jubilee Centre (large blue and wooden building) on the right (approximately 800 metres). Take the right turn just in front of the Jubilee centre. We are then located on the right hand side approximately 200 metres up that road.

How we protect your information

Data encryption

  • These terms and conditions, together with Our Privacy Policy and any order form or payment instructions comprise the whole agreement between You and Us in relation to each order that We accept from You.
  • All purchases of goods from the Site will be governed by these terms and conditions to the exclusion of any other terms.
  • By browsing the Site or submitting an order You agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • By placing any order You acknowledge that You have not relied on any statement, warranty or representation other than those which are made in these terms and conditions, Our Privacy Policy, any order form or any payment instructions.

Your Account

Orders

Payment

  • For orders placed using a debit/prepaid/credit card We will pre-authorise Your card during the checkout process. The order amount is reserved from Your available spending limit but not deducted from Your account. We will request the funds from Your card at the point of despatch.
  • For orders placed using PayPal, immediate payment is required. Orders subsequently cancelled prior to despatch will be refunded in full.
  • Failure to collect the funds successfully may result in delayed acceptance of Your order or cancelation.
  • Payments will show on Your statement as either "Simply Scuba Ltd" or "The Simply Group" or "www.thesimplygroup.com".
  • Your payment method will be debited in Your preferred currency (GBP/USD/EUR) as set out on the Site in Your account profile or at the shopping basket for Express Checkout customers. All sums displayed on the Site in other currencies are indicative and are provided for information purposes only.

Delivery

  • Due to limited availability of some of the goods We sell, a particular item may be out of stock. We accept no liability for delays caused by goods being out of stock. If You have requested multiple shipments We will debit the second and any subsequent shipment's carriage charges from Your card.
  • Times to despatch shown on the website are an estimate only. We shall not be liable for delays caused by matters outside Our control.
  • Delivery will be advised at the time of submitting Your order but please allow up to 30 days for delivery. In stock items will generally be dispatched the same day, out of stock goods may take longer.
  • Any claim based on any defect in quantity, quality or condition of the goods must be notified to Us within ten days of delivery after which You will be deemed to have accepted the goods.
  • The cost of delivery shipment will be displayed at the shopping basket and checkout prior to submitting Your order. The cost is dependent on destination country and service level selected. Not all services are available in all locations. We reserve the right not to ship to all countries/destinations.
  • Risk of damage to or loss of the goods shall pass to You at the point at which they are delivered to You.
  • For UK couriered consignments We reserve the right to charge a GBP15 charge for Redirection to any address other than the delivery address specified in Your order. If no UK delivery address is specified in Your order consignments will automatically be sent to the billing address
  • We will provide You with an expected delivery date when We despatch Your order. It is Your responsibility to ensure that someone is available at the address to sign for the delivery should it be required. We accept no liability for delays in Your receiving the order due to no signature being available at the address provided. Expected date of delivery is estimated and may be subject to change due to adverse conditions.

Non-delivery

  • In the unlikely event of non-delivery of Your order, You agree to undertake reasonable steps as requested by Us in order to resolve the situation for You as quickly as possible. Steps may include, but are not limited to, confirming with Your local delivery centre that no consignments are being held for You, ensuring that someone is available to take delivery at the address provided, providing Us or Our delivery partners declaration of non-delivery upon request.
  • Although every effort will be made by Us to ensure that non-delivery issues are resolved as quickly as possible, Royal Mail does not consider delayed items as "lost " or "missing" for 15 days within the UK or 30 days overseas. This may result in exceptional circumstances to a delay in replacing or refunding Your order.
  • Failure by You to complete and return declarations of non-delivery as requested by Us or Our partners that results in the rejection of Our compensation claim, will result in You being debited for the current retail value of the missing items.
  • It is Your responsibility to inform Us as soon as practicable (but no more than seven days) of subsequent delivery of goods previously refunded or replaced due to non-delivery.
  • Failure by You to return or make available for collection, goods previously refunded or replaced but subsequently delivered will result in Your being debited for the current retail value of the items.

Availability and Pricing

  • All prices listed in Our catalogues or on the Site are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Although every effort is made by Us to ensure that the prices displayed in Our catalogues or on the Site are correct, mispricing can occur. Under these circumstances We reserve the right, at Our discretion, either to contact You for instructions or cancel Your order and notify You accordingly.
  • Where goods are "in stock" at our fulfilment facility this is indicated on the particular product page on the Site. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of this information. Refunds, Returns and Your Right to Cancel

  • You may cancel Your order or part thereof and return the relevant items for a refund up to 28 days from the date of despatch provided that the returned items have not been used in any way and are returned to Us with their original packing with any tags attached "as new".
  • You must complete the returns section of the original delivery note and return the goods to Us before the deadline printed on Your delivery note.
  • In order for UK customers to qualify under the Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) orders must be cancelled within seven days, starting the day after the goods are received, in writing by letter or email to CustomerCare@TheSimplyGroup.com. Returning orders under DSR must be in arrangement with Us in order to qualify for reimbursement of return postage.
  • You may cancel Your offer to buy at any time prior to Us despatching Your goods by contacting Us directly or via Your account where You have set one up.
  • If any product that is purchased does not turn out to be the correct size for You then We will exchange it provided that the product has not been used in any way and is returned to Us with its original packing "as new" with tags attached where appropriate. Any product that is returned for an exchange must be accompanied by the original delivery note with the return section fully completed with the reason for exchange within the specified returns period printed on Your delivery note (28 days from the date of despatch).
  • Should You believe that any product You have purchased from Us is faulty, it is Your responsibility to contact Us as soon as reasonably practicable and give Us as much detail as You can. We will then assess the situation and determine the best course of action required in order to resolve the situation for You as quickly as possible. You agree to undertake reasonable steps as requested by Us in order to resolve the situation. Steps may include, but are not limited to, providing Us with images of said fault by email, fax or post. Returning the item to Us or Our appointed expert, via Our appointed service, for assessment, and ensuring the availability of the item for collection by Our agents.
  • If any product that is purchased is faulty We will exchange it for an identical replacement free of charge provided that the product is returned to Us with its original packaging and the fault is notified to Us. The provision of a replacement item is conditional on Our engineers first verifying the reported fault.
  • Items sold under Our 'Price Slide' policy are sold at substantial discount and are usually end-of-line items and as such are non-returnable. This does not affect Your statutory rights.

Property

  • Property in the goods shall pass to You upon clearance of Your payment.

  • Incorrectly sized items despatched outside the United Kingdom and inside the European Union may, at Our discretion, be exchanged for correctly sized replacements provided that returned items have not been used in any way and are returned to Us with their original packing with any tags attached "as new". You are responsible for all shipping costs associated with the exchange of incorrectly sized items.
  • Due to it being a circumstance beyond Our reasonable control, We do not accept any responsibility for shipment delays due to customs issues.
  • You are responsible for providing any required paperwork to customs in the destination country.
  • Any customs and excise duties and associated admin charges levied on a consignment are entirely Your responsibility and will be debited accordingly.
  • All charges incurred as a result of refusal of the parcel or failures to collect the parcel are entirely Your responsibility and will be debited accordingly.
  • We can only deliver Scubapro and UWATEC products to addresses within the member states from time to time of the EEA.

WEEE Regulations

  • The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (or WEEE) Regulations are now U.K. law. All European member States including the U.K. have agreed to reduce the amount of WEEE that is being disposed of in landfill sites. It is important that the amount of WEEE sent to landfill sites is reduced because:
  • Some WEEE can be re-used or recycled. The amount of landfill space available in the UK is decreasing. If We can keep WEEE out of landfill sites it means there is more landfill space available for non-recyclable waste.
  • WEEE can contain hazardous substances. When left in landfill sites the hazardous substances in WEEE can pollute soil and contaminate water supplies. This contamination can damage human health and the environment.
  • Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (or EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites. We are doing Our bit under these regulations by offering Our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product. For example, if a You bought a new toaster from Us We would accept Your old toaster and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely.
  • In order to benefit from our WEEE disposal scheme You must return Your WEEE item to Us within 28 days of purchasing Your new item.
  • You do not have to pay for the transportation of Your WEEE item to Our premises. If You wish to return Your WEEE item, please contact Us on 0844 567 7070 or by email to customer services and we will arrange collection.
  • Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste.
