I have a Cressi dive mask
I have a Cressi dive mask, which I love - fits perfectly, no leaks, nice and snug, no misting - so naturally when I saw this product I thought it would be ideal for swimming.
In the flesh - there are a lot bigger than I expected, with the sides comming out quite far. The large flat panes of glass do give you good vision (for a very short time) however it feels odd as you can feel the pressure of the water pushing against them as you swim forward. I put that out of my mind, however on the way back (2nd length of the pool) the problems started.
Unfortuatly, the mask rides up the face rapidly (the strap either sits too high or pushes your ears down), it leaks around the seal (goggles fit in the eye socket, dive masks around the face and nose - this tries to fit inbetween but that doesnt offer a good enough seal), fogs up very VERY quickly (much worse than my regular plastic speedo goggles - which I was replacing with these glass ones as the chlorine has corroded the lenses), and the quick release clips aren't anywhere near as good as my dive mask - they slip constantly, meaning the seal becomes very slack and water gets in.
I've only used these once, and I ended my swimming session early because I was getting very frustrated.
Shame you cant try before you buy with this kind of thing, but hopefully this is useful to someone!
