What we've been up to at Simply Swim (Aug - Oct 13)

It's been an exciting couple of months at Simply Swim HQ with lots of different things going on, we thought we'd talk about it all in one big post to let you know what's been happening behind the scenes..

We gave away an iPad Mini!

It feels an age away now but August got off to a great start where we gave away an iPad mini to lucky winner Helen Oakes who entered the competition which started in July. Look out for more exciting competitions like this one in the future, it could be you!

Feelin' Fresh - Our website got a new look

We've been working on this for a little while now and our new website launched in September with it's fresh new look and so did our logos on facebook and twitter and our blog! The aim was to give it all a bit of a re-vamp and improve some of the usability and we're really happy with how it turned out.

Some of the Simply Swim team made their modelling debut in our magazine print ad

We like to get involved here at Simply Swim and if that means posing in a swimsuit for a magazine advert then so be it. Some of the guys and gals from our HQ popped into the studio to show what kind of water lovers we cater for in our magazine advert.

Simply Swim supported Sean Conway as he became the first man EVER to swim the length of Britain!

Sean visited Simply Swim HQ back in June with a crazy idea that would mean him spending 135 days at sea swimming from Lands End to John O'Groats, the equivalent of swimming the English Channel every DAY!  Despite agreeing with his self proclaimed nuttery we decided to help him buy supplying a bunch of pro swim gear and scuba gear from our sister store Simply Scuba to help him achieve this amazing feat, and he kindly allowed us to interview him in our studio and along the journey - you can watch all of these videos here. Spending months in freezing cold water supported by Em Bell in  Kayak (becoming the first lady to kayak the length of Britain) and growing a mightily impressive beard to avoid jelly fish stings to the face, it was not a easy task by any means. We are extremely happy having had the news on Monday that Sean reached his goal at midday and are immensely inspired by and proud of his achievements after following and cheering him on all the way. I think we can all agree that this man is made of something rare and remarkable and we doubt it will be long before he is off on his next big adventure. Sean raised a fantastic amount of money for War Child UK during #swimmingbritain.

We revealed the Zoggs Cabarita zipped back highneck swimsuit exclusive to Simply Swim

This gorgeous swimsuit will be available from early December and at only £28 it's on our Christmas list! It's been an exciting couple of months and we're looking forward now to Christmas and lots more excitement!
