The 10 Best Waterslides In The World

Hey guys! Have you ever wanted to know what the best waterslides are in the world? Luckily for you, here at Simply Swim have come with our favourite 10! Let's get on with it, shall we? In at number 10, we have the Verruckt in Kansas City. This thing is a record breaker. Standing at a 168 feet tall, it is the tallest water slide in the world, that's taller than Niagara Falls. If that isn't enough to put you off, its got a 50 foot drop as well. Now that's equivalent around ten giraffes. I should have said nine and three quarters worth of giraffes. No, you ain't going down on your back. You do sit in a three-seater seat. And as I say, you're going to whoosh down and it's over in a matter of seconds. And at number nine, we have the Jumeirah Sceirah in Dubai. This thing is going to scare the pants off of you. Not only it is 32 metres high, but also it is a vertical dropout, quite literally, the floor drops underneath you. How scary is that? The flumes are run at 120 metres in length, and the top speed that has been recorded on it is 80 kilometres an hour. That's pretty fast. In at number eight, we have the Scorpion's Tall in Wisconsin. This thing is massive. It is 10 stories high. It is 400 feet in length, and you drop 50 feet per second. I'll repeat, 50 feet per second. And to top it off, in the middle, there's even an aqua-loop, so at that speed you are also going upside down. That's crazy! In at number seven, we have the Insano in Brazil. It is 41 metres long, but it is all about the speed. It has a top speed of 105 kilometres an hour. 105 kilometres! That's super fast! Just imagine if you got a wedgie. You have to be insano to go on this slide! In at number six, we have the Dawwama in Abu Dhabi. This is going to be a perfect water slide for you and all your mates. You're going down in a 20 foot flume all huddled up together, and in the middle section, there's a funnel section which slides you side to side. Trust me, it's going to test your friendship. In at number five, we have the Brain Wash in Florida. Now, this is going to be fun for all the family. It has a 53 foot vertical dropout, and it has 65 feet's worth of swirling flumes. Trust me, if you wanted to go on a waterslide that sees your mum and dad cry, this is definitely going to be the one. In at number four, we have the King Cobra in New Jersey. This one is a biggie. It's five stories high, but the greatest thing is, you can race your mates down the slide. It has a 250 metre track on there, and it has a top speed of 32 miles an hour. 32 miles an hour! That's pretty quick. In at number three, we have the Aqualoop in Slovenia. This thing is crazy. It's 56 feet high and also features a vertical dropout. This thing is crazy! You go down 37 miles per hour. That's the top speed, which gives you a g-force of 2.5. No wonder it's over in a matter of seconds. In second place, we have the Leap of Faith. Gotta have faith! This thing is crazy! It has a near vertical drop out of 60 feet, but not only that, once that dropout is done, you go through a flume which is in a pool filled with sharks. I'll repeat, a pool filled with sharks. That is crazy! Can I get a drum roll, please? Thank you very much. In the number one, we have the Summit Plummet in Florida. This waterslide is crazy! It is a 120 feet tall, 120 feet! And the overall length of the flumes is 360 feet. It is because of that, that's why you get a top speed of 60 miles an hour. 60 miles an hour! Trust me, this waterslide isn't for the faint-hearted, that's why it's our number one. So there we have it guys, that's our top 10 waterslides in the world. Did we miss one out? Or what is your personal favourite? Just leave us a comment.
