Illa Fantasia, Barcelona
Let's start this list off with a splash! Illa Fantasia in Barcelona has over 20 water slides as well as three large swimming pools. This gives you plenty of places to cool off from the hot Spanish sun. Either race down slides, play mini golf, or just relax in a nearby pool; there's plenty for everyone. So water you waiting for?
Aqualandia, Benidorm
The park has over 20 rides so there's plenty to experience. This includes the Vertigo which is built into the hillside, offering amazing views of the park. Then you drop 22 metres and will reach speeds of 62mph! Just don’t forget to hold onto your trunks. In addition to the rides, Aqualandia has a large lagoon surrounded by tropical palm trees perfect for a spot of relaxation.
Aqua Natura, Benidorm
Let's dip our toes in the amazing selection of rides and slides for you to choose from in this 165 square metre water park. This one's perfect for the whole family with a number of children’s play areas and restaurants. There are also plenty of thrill rides such as the La Cresta where you experience the feeling of weightlessness. Attached is the Terra Natura that has 200 different kinds of animals including several endangered species.
PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park, Salou
PortAventura is the most popular theme park in Spain with over 4 million visitors every year. Right next to the theme park is their famous water park. This amazing 50, 000 square foot water park is full of waterslides and pools. It boasts one of the tallest free fall slides in Europe at 31 metres tall with a 55 degree slope where you will plummet 6 metres per second.
Siam Park, Tenerife, Canary Islands
Siam Park has been named number one of the Top 25 Water Parks in the world by Trip Advisor. It has a fantastic Siamese theme that transports you to a Thai paradise; walk past the world's largest dragon statue and experience the tropical themed rides. This includes the Tower of Power that blasts you down a vertical slide and through a shark-infested aquarium. If thrill rides aren’t your thing then relax in the world's longest lazy river. Or experience the wave pool; home to the world's highest artificial waves.
