Please note: This item cannot be shipped outside the European UnionThe Eagle Swimming Goggles from Aqua Sphere are an exciting goggle as they can be worn as they are or can be bought with optical lenses to create a pair of prescription goggles for people who wear glasses. These clear lens goggles are comfortable swim goggles for fitness or leisure swimming and have softly curved eye gaskets.
If you want to buy this goggle as a prescription goggle you will need to buy the optical lenses separately and you will need to choose the correct diopter for each eye (this is the spherical measurement (Sph) on your prescription). The prescription lenses come in half-step increments from 1.5 to 6.0. Once you get the goggle and lenses, just pop out the normal lenses and swap them for the optical lenses.
However, if you do not need a prescription goggle then just buy the Eagle goggle as normal and you will have an excellent swim goggle giving great vision and comfort. The Eagle has a one-piece, 100% silicone frame with curved Plexisol® lenses that provide 180-degree, non-distorted visibility. And an updated easy-adjust buckle makes fitting easier than ever!

I've not been swimming (except on holidays) for about 20 years, and a large part of this is my short-sightedness. I had wondered about vision-correction goggles from time-to-time, but it never felt like a priority when other forms of exercise were possible without a speculative £60 spend.
First of all, the goggles and -3.00 lenses I need are sold separately. The method for switching out the lenses is quite ingenious and there are good video tutorials online that explain the process. I had worried that disassembling the eye-pieces would affect the water-tightness but the stretchy silicone retainers did the job perfectly. The goggles were a comfy fit and very adjustable, but I needed to try them in the pool to be sure.
I needn't have worried, as the moment I got into the pool I knew I had made a great choice! Being able to see what was going on around me, looking at the clock for length times (and pool closing time) and reading signs and notices around the pool was a revelation for me. I instantly felt safer and more confident in the pool.
I've used these for about 20 trips to the pool now, and they are water-tight and the anti-fog treatment on the lenses works extremely well. From no swimming for 20 years to 4/5 sessions a week, all thanks to this purchase.
